Raytheon Australia congratulates Pam Price on her appointment as General Manager of ‘RPDE’

CANBERRA- 06 December 2006: Raytheon Australia today applauded the Government’s decision to appoint Raytheon Australia executive Pam Price as the next General Manager for the Defence and industry capability development cooperative - Rapid Prototyping Development and Evaluation (RPDE).

Ms Price has held senior management positions within Raytheon Australia for the past five years, has extensive experience in program management and is a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma™ expert. 

Before joining Raytheon, Ms Price had a successful twenty year career with the Royal Australian Navy – reaching the rank of Commander.

Raytheon Australia Managing Director Ron Fisher said that Raytheon Australia was an active member of the development cooperative and he was pleased to see a Raytheon executive selected for such a challenging and important role.

“It is a tremendous vote of confidence in Raytheon Australia to have had such a talented performer from our ranks selected to lead this important program,” Mr Fisher said.

“Her leadership, experience and expertise will hold her in great stead as she takes up the reins of this exciting opportunity.”

The RPDE Program is a collaborative venture between the Australian Department of Defence and industry. Its mission is to enhance ADF warfighting capacity through accelerated capability change in the Network Centric Warfare (NCW) environment.
