Company’s Executive Director of Government Affairs to become Chief Executive of peak industry body

Canberra – 14 December 2010: Raytheon Australia today announced the departure of Matthew Cossey from his position as Executive Director of Government Affairs to take up a senior leadership role with a national industry association.

It has been announced that Mr Cossey has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of CropLife Australia, the peak industry organisation for Australia’s agricultural plant science sector.

The Managing Director of Raytheon Australia, Mr Michael Ward, expressed his gratitude to Mr Cossey for his contribution to the company over the previous two years and wished him well in his new role.

“I am grateful to Matthew for his efforts that have driven our government relations strategy and activities over the last couple of years and the contribution he has made as a member of Raytheon Australia’s Leadership Team. Mr Cossey takes up his appointment in the new year.
