Raytheon Australia boosts cybersecurity capabilities with key acquisition

CANBERRA – 22 February 2010:  Raytheon Australia has acquired business assets previously owned by Compucat Research Pty. Ltd. in order to enhance Raytheon’s ability to meet the future information security needs of the Australian intelligence community. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

Compucat brings to Raytheon specialist domain experience and technical knowledge in cybersecurity services including information assurance and software development. The acquisition will provide Raytheon Australia with greater capacity and the ability to act as a portal to Raytheon’s broad range of information and cybersecurity activities.
